My Story
My journey began with a diet of ultra-processed foods, a sugar addiction, and body confidence struggles. I didn’t understand nutrition and found the gym boring. Everything changed when I discovered trampolining fitness classes, which made exercise fun and exciting. From there, I developed a passion for strength and conditioning training at the gym. With commitment and consistency, I dropped two dress sizes and maintained a healthy weight, ultimately reaching my physical peak and feeling body confident in time for my sister’s beautiful beach wedding. Now, I’m here to help others achieve their own transformations!

Tracy's Story
Tracy wanted to change her sedentary lifestyle and build the habit of regular exercise, with the goal of confidently using the gym on her own. At 54, she’s achieved her physical peak, proudly showing off her ab definition and toned body while on holiday. Through nutrition education, tracking, and consistent weekly PT sessions, Tracy is now ready to maintain her progress independently. Her family and friends can’t stop asking how she looks so amazing - a transformation Tracy proudly credits to her personal training journey.
Emma's Story
Emma's goals were to achieve a more toned physique and to increase her strength. In her first session, she said, "I don't squat" and "don't make me look like Popeye," but she quickly overcame her fears of weight training. With a routine of weekly PT sessions, independent gym workouts, classes, and regular outdoor runs, Emma achieved her amazing results. In summer 2024, she completed the Manchester 10km Run in under 1 hour! She’s now two jeans sizes smaller, has impressive core strength, and walks into the gym feeling confident. Emma credits her transformation to having a PT who always pushed her, believed in her, and helped her regain her confidence and self-love.


Laura's Story
Laura wanted to improve her body confidence and lose weight for her wedding. Through online PT and nutrition coaching, she committed to 3 weight-based gym sessions per week and transformed her health. Laura successfully reduced her BMI from obese to healthy, losing 6.5cm from her waist, 8.5cm from her hips, and 3.5cm from her thighs. By her wedding in 2022, she was at her physical peak, feeling confident and radiant on her big day.
Kim's Story
Kim started her journey with Emma James Wellness 2 years after having her child. Her focus was to build core strength, boosting energy, fat loss, and improving overall fitness with regular exercise. Since then, she’s achieved phenomenal results, losing 2 stone in weight, 12cm from her waist, 11cm from her hips, and 6cm from her thighs. Kim has dropped 2 dress sizes and treated herself to a new wardrobe, including a gym crop top - a goal she set with her new found body confidence. Initially hesitant about running, she now runs 3km twice a week and is preparing for her first 5km parkrun in under 28 minutes. Beyond her achievements, Kim has rediscovered herself outside of being a busy mum to a toddler, embracing a lifestyle of strength, fitness, and confidence.


Caitlin's Story
Caitlin first joined Emma James Wellness for 1:1 PT and Nutrition Coaching with the goal of losing weight and building muscle. But, as she and her husband Ian began their IVF journey, Caitlin's goals evolved. Caitlin grew stronger, more resilient and more empowered in her body, reaching her physical peak, something she truly believes helped her to conceive successfully and manage the stress of the process.

Caitlin continued to train weekly throughout her pregnancy and independently alongside Ian. At 9 months pregnant, they’re excitedly preparing to welcome their baby, crediting their training journey as a key part of their story.
Lucy's Story
Lucy joined Emma James Wellness for Online Nutrition coaching with a clear goal: to build healthier habits and achieve sustainable weight loss. Lucy lost 12lbs in 12 weeks, she learned how to limit ultra-processed foods, make nutritious swaps for more whole foods and create her own breakfast smoothies.

Following her personalised macro targets and having a high-protein diet, Lucy said "I'm not wanting to pig-out on junk food, I can feel the sides of my stomach going in."
Setting herself up for long-term success, Lucy continues her journey independently, equipped with the skills and knowledge of how to maintain a balanced, healthy lifestyle.


Kayleigh's Story
Kayleigh began PT sessions to make the gym a safe and welcoming space and help her manage social anxiety. She quickly built confidence, developed a positive rapport with other gym users, and even found a gym buddy. Transitioning from two PT sessions per week to online coaching, Kayleigh stuck to a consistent exercise routine and achieved incredible results - losing 90lbs (6 and a half stone), 16" from her waist, and dropping from a size 22 to a size 10-12. Now physically and mentally stronger, she enjoys hiking and embraces a healthier, more active lifestyle.
Mel's Story
Mel started working with EJW for 1:1 PT and nutrition coaching when she was 4 months postpartum, achieving an amazing 8-week transformation, including losing 10lbs and reducing her waist and hip measurements. Mel lost 10lbs, 8cm from her waist, and 7.5cm from her hips. Committed to weekly PT sessions, nutrition goal-setting, and independent workouts, Mel has experienced remarkable progress. Dot's Story
Dot started her health and fitness journey as a complete gym beginner. With only 2 months of yoga experience and a background in cardio, she was unsure how to utilise the gym.
